Between 8:00 a.m. yesterday and 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning, State Police responded to approximately 354 motor vehicle accidents, of which 31 resulted in minor injury. Additionally, State Troopers responded to approximately 228 motorist assists which includes spin-outs and disabled vehicles.

The Town of Griswold has extended its current parking ban until 6am Sunday morning, December 10th. The original parking ban was to end at midnight but due to weather conditions, the town has extended the ban.
On Saturday, December 9, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Connecticut State Troopers have responded to approximately 220 motor vehicle crashes, 19 with minor injury. Troopers have also responded to approximately 124 motorist assists – spin-outs and disabled motor vehicles.
