Deceased Body Found In Lisbon Identified

On Saturday, November 25th , a disturbing event occurred in Lisbon when it was announced that a deceased person was found in a wooded area of 151 River Road in Lisbon. Ironically it’s a spot where Connecticut State Police park at times for possible traffic enforcement. At approximately 1:40 p.m., Troopers from Troop E-Montville responded. Detectives from Eastern District Major Crime (EDMC) responded to the scene as well and assumed the investigation.

Social Media in the Griswold/Lisbon area was buzzing with all sorts of theories. Lots of speculation. However, family members have come forward to end the irresponsible speculation of some with information.

The deceased was identified as David (Davey) Cloutier, III who had been missing for 5 months and 1 week. According to David’s Aunt and Godmother, Sandra Cloutier-Rowe, “What is needed now are prayers to help my brother (Davey’s Father and Mother) get through this difficult time. It was also stated that “He was a funny person. Always had a smile on his face and always found a way to make you laugh. Family was everything, he loved playing with his niece besides his own children. He was so polite with very good manners. He had the utmost respect for his elders. He is a very hard working young man and always there to help anyone that needed it. He had a huge heart and very compassionate for others . He was a big kid at heart.”

Cloutier-Rowe has initiated a Go Fund Me Account to assist with the expenses associated with the funeral. The campaign can be viewed here: https://www.gofundme.com/help-us-put-my-nephew-to-rest.

Guillot Funeral Home in Taftville will be in charge of services and a mass will be held at St. Augustine in Canterbury where he was an alter boy.
