Trooper’s Make Two Arrests Thanks to the Public’s Assistance

“On April 20, 2017 at around 10 AM, Trooper First Class Siart was dispatched to investigate a car break in the Town of Sterling. The victim reported to Troopers that she receive notification from her bank of unauthorized credit card transactions. The victim went out to her car to retrieve her purse and discovered that someone had broken into her car. The thieves stole the victim’s purse and other personal belongings. One of the unauthorized credit card transactions was tracked to the Brooklyn Walmart. Trooper Siart responded to Walmart and obtained video surveillance footage of the accused parties. The video surveillance footage was posted to the Troop D QLTF Facebook page in the hope that someone would recognize the female suspect. Immediately, tips came in identifying one of the accused parties. Troopers located and interviewed the two accused parties who subsequently confessed to committing the crimes. Pamela Bliven (DOB 11/26/85) and Michael Geer (DOB 01/30/88) both of Danielson were arrested and charged with burglary, criminal impersonation, larceny, credit card theft and identity theft. Both were transported back to Troop D where they were processed and held on a $14,500 cash/surety bond and are scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior Court on 04/21/17.
